Do your kids want you to quit smoking?
It’s one of the most common reasons people quit - for their loved ones. Wanting to be around longer for your partner, kids or grandkids is a great motivator to kick the habit.
As well as the long list of health benefits that start as soon as you have your last cigarette, and the huge financial savings, the earlier you quit, the more likely your children will be non-smokers.
Last year Make Smoking History aired a TV ad featuring 12 Western Australians who were trying to quit smoking. Four of these people talked about quitting for their kids in interviews that were filmed around the same time.
Johnna, Tarryn, Levi and Graham now have their very own TV ads from those interviews where they talk about how their kids helped them to quit for good.
