Getting the right help and support can go a long way to ensure that you’re able to quit for good.

My QuitBuddy App

The My QuitBuddy App tracks your quitting progress, such as days smoke-free, cigarettes avoided, health gained and dollars saved.  You can even record your own goals and motivations with pictures, words and audio. There is also a community board where you can get motivation and support from thousands of other people who are quitting too. 

You can also program danger times for My QuitBuddy to send you a note, such as at morning coffee time. When you are experiencing a craving My QuitBuddy can give you reminders of the health benefits of quitting, games to distract you, or you can call the Quitline or a nominated friend directly from the app.

Quit for you – Quit for two App

The Quit for you – Quit for two App provides support and encouragement to help you give up smoking if you are currently or are planning to become pregnant. Quit for you – Quit for two will help you take your mind off the cravings with fun exercises and games to keep your hands busy. It distracts you when you feel the urge to light up, with practical quit tips and advice. It inspires you to keep going with amazing facts about your baby's development and by tracking the money you have saved.

It's a fun and really practical way to quit and stay smoke-free for the health of you and your baby.

You can speak to an advisor as many times as you wish on 13 7848, or use the Quitline call-back service - they'll ring you.

QuitCoach

QuitCoach provides you with a personalised quitting plan, and creates this based on your responses to questions about your motivation, confidence and past attempts. QuitCoach is free, and has helped thousands to achieve their goal of becoming a non-smoker. Research shows it doubles your chance of quitting.

The Quit Because You Can booklet is part of the Quit Kit and provides practical advice to help you plan and quit smoking. It includes information to help you learn about why you smoke and describes different ways of quitting.No matter where you are in your quit journey, this booklet has advice for you.
